Manitoba’s Premier Duathlon Series
One of Canada’s longest running multisport series, the Birds Hill Duathlon in the Park Series returns for 2026.
Our annual event now consists of 3 races held on Tuesday evenings - May 12, 19 & 26. This race series has been held annually at Birds Hill Park since 1983 and provides a fun and friendly atmosphere for thousands who come out to experience the exhilaration and challenge associated with this tremendous event.

Races take place at the East Beach Parking Lot at Birds Hill Park on three Tuesdays evenings in May.

Sign up for any, or all of the races, and take a shot at one of two opportunities to qualify to wear the maple leaf and represent Canada at the Multisport World Championships in Edmonton, summer 2027.
Sprint Duathlon World Championship Qualifier – Tues May 19th (Adult Long)
Standard Duathlon World Championship Qualifier – Tues May 26th (Adult XL)
Up for all three races? Make a run for the Manitoba Provincial Duathlon Championship (Sprint and Standard distances). Fastest combined time across three Adult Short or three Adult Long races will win.
Each week, there are five events to choose from, catering to all age levels:
*Adult XL only available May 26th race, and will be in place of regular Adult Long distance.
Ready to dive into the world of racing? With Early Bird Registration costs at just $25 for kids and $40 for adults, there's no better time to start. Grab your bike, helmet, and running shoes, and let your Tuesday evenings in May mark the beginning of an incredible summer.

Race Day Registration pricing takes effect the Friday before each race, and will close at 5:00pm on race day.
